Trim Repair
Trim repair is baseboard, casing, and similar interior millwork: loose pieces, ugly cuts, and damage from moves or pets. It is finish carpentry, not custom millwork shop production.
Why this service exists
- Visible edges that make a room look finished
- Common after flooring or furniture moves
- Can match existing profiles when material is available
- Paint-grade vs stain-grade is specified
Process
How this service runs
- 1
Profile and paint
We need to know if trim will be painted after or is already finished.
- 2
Remove or refasten
Loose trim is not always replace-all.
- 3
Cope, cut, install
Inside corners and long runs are the craft.
- 4
Fill and handoff
Paint-grade work should be ready for the painting division if they are next.
Questions
FAQ
- Will you match stained oak exactly?
- Stain matching is limited. We will not promise invisible dye-lot matches.
- Crown molding?
- Ask. Simple runs may be in scope; complex ceiling work may not.
