Struvento Drywall & Painting

Drywall Finishing

Finishing is the difference between board on a wall and a surface that can be painted. We tape, coat, and sand to the level of finish the project actually needs—not a generic “smooth enough.”

Why this service exists

  • Paint-ready walls and ceilings
  • Finish level matched to lighting and occupancy
  • Pairs with installation, repair, and painting
  • Critical for commercial corridors and rental units

Process

How this service runs

  1. 1

    Set the finish level

Lighting, sheen, and how close people will stand to the wall determine the finish.

  2. 2

    Tape and coat

Joints and fasteners are built in passes rather than rushed in a single heavy coat.

  3. 3

    Sand and inspect

We check under raking light where the job allows so ridges do not show after paint.

  4. 4

    Hand off to paint

If we are also painting, primer and topcoat follow immediately instead of sitting open.

Questions

FAQ

What level of finish do you provide?
We agree on a finish level during scoping. Critical-light walls need a different standard than closets.
