Battery Replacement
Battery replacement is for vehicles that crank slowly, will not start, or have a battery that has tested weak. We confirm the battery is actually the problem when we can, then replace a conventional 12-volt battery on site. High-voltage hybrid and EV propulsion batteries are not this service.
Why this service exists
- A visit instead of a jump that only lasts the afternoon
- Testing when the vehicle will allow it
- Installation and a start check
- Focused on conventional 12-volt batteries
Process
How this service runs
- 1
Confirm the symptom
No-crank, slow crank, or a battery that will not hold.
- 2
Test when possible
A dead battery and a charging-system problem are different jobs.
- 3
Replace and secure
The new battery is installed and terminals are connected correctly.
- 4
Start and check charging basics
If the vehicle still will not run, diagnostics continues instead of calling the battery job complete.
Questions
FAQ
- Do you supply the battery?
- Supply can be discussed during intake. Owner-supplied batteries are possible when the type is correct.
- Hybrids and EVs?
- 12-volt support may be possible. High-voltage propulsion systems are referred to a specialist.
