Flooring Removal

Flooring removal is labor and disposal of the existing finish down to the agreed layer—carpet, plank, or other ordinary finishes. Adhesives, multiple layers, and asbestos-era materials change everything and are not casually assumed.

Why this service exists

  • A clean starting layer for the next install
  • Hauling can coordinate with Junk Removal when volume is high
  • Honest about glue-down and multi-layer tear-outs
  • Does not include hazardous abatement

Process

How this service runs

  1. 1

    What is down there

Photos and a corner test beat guessing at three glued layers.

  2. 2

    Protect remaining rooms

Tear-out dust travels. Containment is part of occupied homes.

  3. 3

    Remove to the agreed layer

Down to subfloor vs down to a salvageable underlayment is specified.

  4. 4

    Haul

Debris leaves the site as ordinary C&D unless rules say otherwise.

Questions

FAQ

Old tile mastic or 9x9 tile?
Some historic materials require testing and specialist handling. That work is coordinated separately when needed.
Do you move furniture?
Room-empty vs we-move-it is a labor line. It is not silently included.
