Struvento Flooring

Subfloor Preparation

Subfloor preparation is the unglamorous work that decides whether planks move, peak, or last. Patching, fastening, and flatness are scoped as work—not as a free courtesy.

Why this service exists

  • Addresses the reason new floors fail
  • Can be a standalone visit before owner-hired installers
  • Moisture conversations happen here, not after callbacks
  • Prep for the floor system being installed

Process

How this service runs

  1. 1

    Measure flatness and moisture

We check the site conditions that matter for a lasting install.

  2. 2

    Fasten and patch

Squeaks and voids that are in scope are addressed.

  3. 3

    Level as agreed

Self-levelers and patches are products with limits. We use them as scoped.

  4. 4

    Ready for install

The next crew—ours or yours—should be able to start.
